Snow sledges

Outdoor Leisure Direct is proud to present our new range of winter products.

We now have various products to ease the stress being safe when the weather is poor but also loads of ways to enjoy the snow and ice.

Toboggans

Traditional shaped toboggan which is about 110cm long. These are great for the snow and are sturdy as they are made out of wood with metal runners along the bottom to give extra glide. There is also a rope to give stability when riding and most importantly these are fold-able which means they can be stored away easily without taking up too much room.

Sledges

Our snow sledges are suitable for: children, kids and adults on snow, grass, water and sand surfaces. Measuring 89 cm x 43 cm x 12 cm with a rope attached to the front and two handles on the sides to help with stability. The plastic is smooth and sturdy making the ride fast and fun! They come in some really bright colours; pink, green, blue and red.

Bum Sliders

A small plastic, light sledge suitable for riding on snow, grass, water and sand which is big enough for any child or adult to sit on. The plastic is quite soft to reduce the risk of breakage with a handle on the front for extra support and makes it simple to carry.

Skid Lids

Are as fun as their name! They are about the same size as a bin lid and 63 cm diameter and light weight with two handles either side of the lid. We have several colours but all come with snowflake patterns etched into the base of the lid giving more grip on the seat of the lid. Skid lids are perfect for smaller children because they are not as fast as the sledges but also are great for adults.

Snow Gliders

Snow gliders are very similar to skid lids, they are circular, with two handles to hold onto. However the plastic is much more malleable and bendy making it suitable for adults and larger peoples and is much shallower than the skid lids.

Snow Boards

Our snow boards are made out of hard plastic, 105 cm long can be used on snow, grass, water and sand. They have adjustable straps to accommodate for both ‘regular’ and ‘goofy’ stances making these boards perfect for beginners or those learning how to snow board or wake board.

Snow Cleats

Removable rubber cleats which have metal studs which are attached onto your shoes to give you extra grip whilst walking and manoeuvring on snow and ice. They are easy to fit, they stretch over shows and boots without any straps, buckles or snaps.

Shovels

Our shovels are fantastic because they come in two parts which make it much easier to store. They are about 4 ft long with a wooden handle and a plastic head which is lined with metal to give it more protection. They are useful when shovelling snow, spreading grit, breaking ice etc.
