Pool Chemicals

ClearWater Pool Chemicals are perfect for keeping your Pool safe. With all Pool Chemicals we strongly recommend to wearing eye and face protection and ensuring that chemicals cannot be blown into your face. You should also wash your hands after use, and keep the chemicals away from children in a cool, dry place.

When buying a new Pool, we recommend buying a ClearWater Pool Starter Kit. Not only does this include the following chemicals, but it comes in one easy to use box, meaning pool maintenance is simple and safe.

Algaecide

Algaecide is very important if you pool comes into regular contact with direct sunlight for longer periods of time. Algae can grow incredibly quickly and can make your swimming experience incredibly uncomfortable. Algaecide will stop bacteria in the pool from growing, meaning your swimming experience is kept safe and fun.
In order to use this you require water to be at a good neutral pH level, and the Algaecide should be gradually poured near the water inlet. A 25ml weekly dose can keep 4,500 Litres of Algae free.

pH Plus & Minus

Controlling the pH of your pool is very important for a number of reasons. Primarily, it keeps bather comfort to a maximum; it also promotes effective chemical use – so Algaecide works correctly – and protects plants and plant life that is near the Pool.
pH Plus is recommended for when the pH for your water is below 7.2, and pH Minus is ideal for when the pH is above 7.6.

Chlorene Granules

Chlorene Granules kills harmful bacteria and other harmful organisms that enter your pool. They have a minimal effect on the pH of your water, and a small daily dose can keep your pool in ideal condition.

Chlorine Tablets

Chlorene Tablets are perfect for keeping your Pool clean for a greater number of days than regular granules. Tablets last 3 – 5 days depending on the water flowing over them, and as they release chlorine relatively slowly it may be a good idea to use in parallel with the granules, as the granules can give an instantly higher dose of chlorine to the pool.
We have Chemical Floaters, ideal for larger pools, which holds the tablet and ensures it works effectively by giving an even chemical spread around the pool.

Test Strips

Test Strips test for total alkalinity, chlorine, and pH. They come with a Pool/Spa treatment guide, meaning you can keep in control of your chemical usage.
